We Changed Our Logo and Slogan: Here's Why

A message from the Uneepi team

We have something important to share with our community, and we want to be direct about it.

Uneepi has a new logo and a new slogan. This wasn't a routine refresh or a rebrand for the sake of it. It was a decision shaped by thoughtful feedback from people in the community this platform exists to serve. We think you deserve to know exactly what changed and why.

The Puzzle Piece

For a long time, the puzzle piece has been one of the most recognized symbols in neurodivergent and autism-focused spaces. Over time, we heard thoughtful feedback from people in the neurodivergent community about how they experience that symbol, and their perspectives made us look at it differently.

For many autistic and neurodivergent people, the puzzle piece carries painful associations. It implies incompleteness. It suggests that neurodivergent people are puzzles to be solved, mysteries to be figured out, pieces that don't quite fit. That framing comes from a time when neurodivergent experiences were defined almost entirely by neurotypical observers, not by us.

We know not everyone sees the puzzle piece the same way. For many people, including us, it has represented love, connection, and belonging. Our decision is not about declaring one interpretation right and another wrong. It is about choosing the symbol that best reflects the community we want to build today.

Uneepi was built on a different foundation: by us, for us. That means when people in our community share their experiences with us, we take the time to listen and understand before deciding what comes next.

What You Told Us

People in the community shared a perspective we felt was important to consider: the puzzle piece did not reflect how they saw themselves, or what Uneepi is actually about. Uneepi is about connection, belonging, and being understood, not being treated as a problem to be solved.

That feedback matters. It should matter. We did not make this change because everyone agreed or because the old symbol was chosen without love. We made it because listening with care matters more to us than proving our original choice was right.

Our New Logo

Our new logo moves away from the puzzle piece entirely. It reflects what we actually believe: that neurodivergent people are whole, not incomplete. We designed something that feels like community and connection between equals, not a clinical framework or a charity model.

In short, it looks and feels like Uneepi actually does. Like a place where you belong as you are.

Our New Slogan

The logo wasn't the only thing that needed to change.

Our old slogan was "Find your missing puzzle piece." We meant it warmly: the idea that connection fills something, that you'd find someone who fits. But when we looked at it honestly, it carried the same problem. It framed neurodivergent people as incomplete. As missing something. As a puzzle.

That's not who you are. That's not what this community is.

Our new slogan is: Connect without the noise.

To us, Connect without the noise means creating space for genuine connection without unnecessary pressure, assumptions, social expectations, or distractions. It also reflects the experience we are building: simple and focused, with room for people to be themselves.

Uneepi is not built on the promise that we will always be perfect or get everything right the first time. It is built on listening, learning, and treating one another with kindness. We want people to feel heard here, not ignored, dismissed, or corrected for sharing their experience respectfully.

What Doesn't Change

Everything that makes Uneepi what it is stays exactly the same.

We are still a dating, friendship, and community platform built specifically for neurodivergent adults. We are still run by people who are part of this community. We still believe that neurodivergent people deserve spaces designed around how we connect, not how neurotypical culture expects us to.

Listening does not mean setting aside our values. Uneepi remains a place where respectful disagreement is welcome, but disrespect, unkindness, and hate are not. A safe community needs both openness and clear boundaries.

Eight thousand members. Sixty-five relationships formed. A coaching team, a community, a blog, and a podcast, all built on the same foundation and all still here.

The logo changed. The slogan changed. The mission didn't.

Thank You

This change grew from people being willing to share how they felt. If you were one of the people who offered that perspective, whether directly with us or in the broader community conversation around this symbol, thank you. You helped us see something differently.

That's what "by us, for us" actually means in practice. Not just as a tagline, but as the way this platform makes decisions.

We're proud of this change. And we're grateful to be building something with people who care enough to speak honestly, listen generously, and help make Uneepi kinder and more welcoming.

With love,
The Uneepi Team
