Date 11-15-2020 | Views  876

2020 has been kind of a rough year. With COVID, protests, and general unrest the world as a whole has been in a bit scary. It’s understandable to have feelings that you can’t quite put your finger on about this year. Well, we’re here to help you handle these tough times. Here are some tips and tricks to help you now and in the future.

1. Talk with someone

a. One of the worst things that you can do when feeling tough emotions like being upset, or sadness is hold them in and not say anything to anyone. Whether it be a friend, or family member, or a professional like a therapist, talk out your emotions with someone. They may not have a magic cure, but it’ll help you work out your emotions

2. Have a healthy outlet

a. Sometimes focusing our minds on a specific task will help us when we’re feeling down. Now it doesn’t have t be something that everyone is into, but whether you play video games, read, play music, you should try and do something to take your mind off of what you’re currently worrying about.

3. Accept your feelings

a. You should acknowledge the feelings that you have, and if you’re having trouble understanding those feelings, refer back to number 1 (talk with someone)

We just wanted to make a quick list for you, but if you have more questions feel free to reach out to one of our coaches, they can help you with a lot more than dating.

Take care and stay safe,
