Hi All,

 My name is Thomas Sheil and I am the CEO & Founder of Uneepi. Thank you for taking the time to come and visit Uneepi.com, an up and coming autism dating website. I hope you are enjoying your experience.

I figured I would start this letter off by saying what Uneepi means and how it came to be. Uneepi is the combination of two words, Uni, which means to become one and pi, which means forever. Uneepi is an online dating and social media site for people on the Autism Spectrum. Our purpose is to help individuals on the spectrum find love and friendship. I know how difficult it is to find love, even on dating sites. I was on several of them until I met my fiancé. While watching Autism In Love, I saw the difficulty that people on the spectrum have with dating. You are probably wondering why I was watching Autism In Love, well back in college, I built a computer game for kids on the spectrum to help them recognize facial expressions. Since then I tried to find more ways to give back to the Autism community. After watching the documentary, I conducted several hours of research and noticed there was nothing out there to help them find love and friendship. There were a ton of resources that described what it meant to be Autistic, and ways for parents to help their kids who are on the spectrum, but no resource available for people who are on the spectrum seeking love and/or friendship. That's how Uneepi came to be. During our version 1 launch, which is launching in Spring 2017, we will be rolling out a coaching feature that will help users on the spectrum with social interacting and dating. In version 2, we will be rolling out a dating planner that will help plan dates for the users based on their food preference as well as how much money they are willing to spend. Each event location will meet certain requirements such as not being loud and crowded.
